ALEXA'S POV
"Who told you that?" I asked the masked man, as he was still standing at the door. "Is it Percy?"
"Of course it's Percy!" He yelled immediately, causing me to tremble. I had to stir backward. He walked inside the house. "Now, why did you lie to me?" He asked in a threatening tone, slowly walking to me while I treaded backwards. I was speechless for fear of appearing to this man that he might severe my head.
"Why won't you say anything, huh?" He snarled, and I had to fall on the couch. "So it is true. You were the one who killed my brother."
"Max, is... your brother?" I queried, and the words scarcely came out of my mouth.
"Don't ask questions. Just pray that God saves you from this one. Oh well, it's been made very clear that the Lord doesn't answer the prayers of good-for-nothing sinners and fools like you. You killed Max, and now I'm going to kill you!
