KAREN'S POV Inspired by our successful endeavor, Percy suggested that we continue exploring other Italian dishes in future cooking sessions. “I think it's a good idea.” Paulina, Percy's sister said. “Then, you could probably help me anytime you're home?” I asked Paulina. “I'd love to do that.” She said happily. “I'd be interested to help, too. We all imagined ourselves mastering homemade pasta, crafting delicate tiramisu desserts, and experimenting with vibrant tomato sauces. And so, fueled by the passion for Italian gastronomy, we embarked on a journey to expand our culinary repertoire. We made arrangements to visit some Italians and ask questions. We searched out traditional recipes passed down through generations and put our own twist on them to create new culinary delights. After that day, Percy and I began to prepare more Italian dishes.
