KAREN'S POV I had given up all hope on the case. I thought we were going to lose the case and end up ashamed. I watched as the proceeding went on fiercely. I was invited to the witness box just like Max. I swore by the holy Bible before I was questioned. I told the court how I met Max three years ago. I explained how his parents made it clear that I was not accepted in their home. I told the jury how I was inhumanely treated by his mother while Max watches. I told them about his secret affair with super star, Alexa. Everyone murmured loudly until the judge ordered them to be quiet. I presented evidence of their affair to the court and continued my story. I told them how he ignored me on my birthday, just to meet Alexa, his mistress. I narrated how I saw their pictures flying everywhere on the internet and I became furious. I told them I sent a message to him in anger, demanding for a divorce.
