ELIZABETH'S POV The healers had been working with me for weeks, trying to help me overcome my shifting issues together with Megan. But despite their best efforts, I was still struggling. It was now either I tell them my past or I keep struggling. "I don't understand why I can't shift," I said, frustration etched on my face. "I've been practicing, but nothing's working."
