CHAPTER SIXTY FIVE – WORK MEETINGS

Later that day, during the mid-afternoon lull, Maria called a staff meeting. As everyone gathered in the back room, Rebecca noticed the relaxed postures and easy smiles of her coworkers – a stark contrast to the tense gatherings of the past.
