CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY THREE – SHE IS EVERYWHERE

At lunchtime, Rebecca decided to try one of the ship's casual buffet restaurants. As she loaded her plate with salad and grilled chicken, she heard that melodious laugh again. Sure enough, there were Luca and Xarina, seated at a table by the window. Rebecca hesitated, unsure whether to join them or find a seat elsewhere. Before she could decide, Xarina spotted her. "Rebecca, darling!" she called out, waving her over. "Come join us!" Plastering on a smile, Rebecca made her way to their table. "Hi, guys. Fancy meeting you here." Luca pulled out a chair for her. "Oh, you know," she replied, trying to sound nonchalant. "Just exploring. This ship is amazing." "Isn't it?" Xarina agreed, her voice syrupy sweet.
