They left the wine cellar through another hidden door, emerging into a different part of the mansion. This time, Luca led her to what appeared to be a blank section of wood paneling. With a knowing smile, he pressed a specific knot in the wood, and a door swung open. "Oh my," Rebecca breathed as they stepped inside. They were in a small, cozy room lined floor to ceiling with bookshelves. A plush armchair sat in one corner, next to a small fireplace. "The secret library," Luca said, his voice soft with reverence. "This room has been a sanctuary for generations of my family. It holds some of our rarest and most valuable books." Rebecca moved to the shelves, her fingers tracing the spines of ancient tomes. "These must be priceless," she said in awe. Luca nodded. "Many of them are. First editions, signed copies, even a few illuminated manuscripts."
