"Hey guys," she greeted and took a seat beside Yomi who waved at her. "Sorry I'm late, "she apologized. "No problem Lara. We were just about to start when you entered."Jeremy replied with a smile on his face. "I heard you were sick. How are you feeling now? Do we need to reschedule this meeting to when you are fine?"Lara suggested but Jeremy raised his hand in protest. "I'm fine now. Thank you, "he replied and stood up from his seat. "The reason why I called this meeting was because of the shocking news and the injustice that had being going on in this country," Jeremy explained the reason for the meeting and the others listened with rapt attention. "We can't just sit down and watch as the feathers ruled the country. We have to do something. Although Our previous meeting came to an end because of me and I apologize deeply for that. but, we can't just sit down and watch as people die. The reason why this crew is together is that we planned to bring justice to those who had to be wrong. We haven't done anything at all!"Jeremy's last word came out as a shout and he quickly apologize for shouting. "I'm sorry for shouting guys, "he apologized and they all nodded in response. "Thank you, "he said and continued. "We haven't done nothing about all those who had died. Felicia Watson, Linda, Abigail Kennedy, Timothy, and all other victims that had been wronged." "I promised Linda that I was going to help her get justice and I'll do it even in her death," Mary said with a hint of sadness in her tone. "So what the next motive. You lead us and we follow. Cause right now, the feathers won't Back from their project."James stated. "Right attorney. When I saw children in the accident this morning, it broke my heart and I didn't sign up for this. I couldn't protect Katherine and Chloe but I'll do everything to protect those who need protection," Lara promised and placed a hand on her chest. "Very well then. Here are what's going to happen. Everyone here would be assigned to a task and our success in bringing justice depends on everyone here."Jeremy told them and they all listened with full attention. "The first thing we'll do is getting James, sister, out of prison, "Jeremy announced. They all looked shocked at what he just announced. It's not what they were expecting. "Look.."Lara was the first to speak, she stood up and began her explanation. "I know James wants his sister to come out of prison but, how is getting her out connected to all of this?"Lara asked and waited for Jeremy's answer. "I know what's you are thinking Lara but this is the way forward. If we want to bring the feathers down, we start from somewhere. James, "Jeremy turned to face James and asked him some questions. "You said Leonard Philip was the judge that sentenced your sister to prison right?" he asked and James nodded in agreement. "That exactly what we need. I'll reopen the case but first, I need to see your sister, Kemi, and then we'll know What to do next."Jeremy told them but they all gave him a confused stare. "Listen Jeremy. How are you sure you are gonna win this case? This is Leonard Philips we are talking about here."Mary stated with a doubting tone. "Don't doubt me, Mary. I promised Linda, justice but I failed and now, I'm going to do everything to make sure justice is given to those who deserve it."Jeremy said. "What are the tasks?"Lara asked. Jeremy took a file from the table and opened it, he took different papers and gave them to each of them. "Here is how we are going to take the feathers down..." ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? *********** Daniel banged the table as he silenced the feathers that were arguing over the issue of timothy and his family. "Enough feathers. Forget about Timothy and think about the project in front of us."Daniel told them. "But the media are talking about it.."park tried to argue but Daniel raised his hand to stop him. "No more words about Timothy. He is gone and I don't go back talking about people that are dead."Daniel warned. Andre entered the meeting room and bow his head to the feathers. "Feathers, the constructors, and the architect for the project are here to meet you concerning the meeting, "he announced. "Let them in," Daniel commanded. Andre bow and left the meeting room. A few seconds later he returned with some men presumed to be the constructors and the architect. After Andre introduced them, he left. "Hello, feathers. I'm architect Tammy and I'm happy you've chosen me for this project."Tammy bow as he introduced himself. "Tammy..."Alissa trailed off as he stared at Tammy with a smile. Tammy smiled back and earned a glare from Daniel who stare at him with a disdainful look. "We are here for serious business not for you two to flirt here."Daniel scolded. Tammy quickly bow in apology while Alissa continued to stare at him with a flirtatious smile. "We are from construction B, one of the largest companies in mecianda and we are happy to be chosen for this project, "one of the two constructors introduced and continued his explanation. "It's a great pleasure to be in your midst feathers and I can't believe I'm here in front of your feathers. It is a great pleasure and I'm happy..." "Yes, we know. You've said it a thousand times. Can we please get down to business? We didn't sign up for an introduction class!"Simone shouted, probably angry at the constructors and their introduction. "We apologized, "The two constructors said at the same time. Park palmed his head and glared at the constructors. "Right sir, here is the plan.." one of the constructors bought out his laptop and began his explanation on the plan. when the constructors and architect were done with the plan explanation, they bow and left. "That's is the most boring lecture of my life. Where did you get these guys from Daniel?"Leonard complained. "It not about where I got them from. It's about how good and loyal they are, "Daniel replied. "So the feathers get ready for the project to come to reality," he said with a smile on his face. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ********** Jeremy stared at Langose's prison gate. It was a huge black gate with barb wires around it. He looked at Yomi who stood beside him and gave him a nod. Jeremy breathes heavily before entering the prison. When he got to the front desk, the warden asked for an ID and Jeremy introduced himself as Kemi's attorney. "An attorney? What a surprise after five years that an attorney is coming to see a criminal like her. I'll give you guys Thirty-minute with her."That was what the warden said as he permitted them to see her. Kemi, cuffed in both hands was bought into the visiting room of the prison and lead to the table where Jeremy and Yomi were seating. She took a seat opposite them and gave them a confused look. "I never thought I'll see two handsome men coming to visit me after five years."Kemi joked as she stared from yomi to Jeremy. Jeremy gave her no reply, instead, he showed her his ID. "Oh you are the attorney my stupid brother talked to me about. I've been waiting for your arrival. This prison is starting to get boring.."Kemi whispered the last word to them. Yomi stared at her and read through her. He knew she was not happy but pretending to be. For someone who was framed for murder, she knows how to cover up her pain. "I'm going to reopen your case and I need you to tell me everything that happened, "Jeremy told her. Kemi laughed and pointed at both of them. Jeremy raised his brow in confusion and wondered why she was laughing. "Why are you laughing? Is this funny to you?"Jeremy questioned with a frown on his face. He was starting to get angry and if he should do anything now, Kemi might get the wrong impression about him. "That's enough."Yomi banged his hand on the table and that seems to shut kemi up. "Look girl, we have limited Time here and If you don't start talking now, we might leave without achieving anything and that's isn't what we planned." Kemi looked at him with a serious face and then she started laughing again. Yomi groaned quietly and whispered into Jeremy's ear. "Well, it seems you are not ready to leave this prison. I'll just let you rot and spend your remaining ten years here for a crime you didn't commit."Jeremy said and stood up ready to leave. "Wait..."Kemi called in a serious tone. "I'm sorry for my jokes. Thought you guys were fakers," she confessed. Jeremy looked at yomi and they both signal to one another with their eyes. "Very well then. Tell me how it all started and how you got here."Jeremy questioned and sat back on the chair waiting for Kemi to begin her story.
