77 Marcus  

           The sun cast a warm glow over the cozy living room, illuminating the photographs adorning the walls.  Alexandra sat curled up on her favorite armchair, a steaming cup of tea cradled in her hands.  Her gaze wandered to the framed picture of her elder sisters two sons, Marcus and Trey, smiling back at her.  It had been over two years since her sisters  divorce, and while the wounds had healed, she still wore the scars of a failed marriage. A memory she could never forget hung in her mind. Alexandra knew that her sister needed some space so she decided that Alexandra take care of the children for the time being. There was a knock from the building’s entrance door, interrupting her quiet reverie. "Marcus? Could you get the door?" She waited for a response, but after a while, she decided to check who was at the door herself.  “It was the mailman.” He handed her some letters which had her name written on them and left.
