101 Unveiling Deception
Lana could remember when she was away from Mark's company; she was heartbroken and decided to work for a lesser-known company.
She could remember vividly how life was for her when she had broken up with Mark.
Confusion and annoyance mingled within Lana as she watched the opposing group of colleagues from afar release spoons of their meals in her direction.
Some food particles hit the ground, and some clung to her hair.
She could remove the rice grains but not the oil that had messed up her perfect hair scent.
This was the highest humiliation she had faced, and she was pissed at the person who threw it.
She looked bewildered at her colleagues, who leaned in, their eyes filled with curiosity and concern.
Unable to provide an immediate answer, Lana communicated silently, her eyes conveying her uncertainty.
"I don't know what's wrong and why they'd do this."
