Chapter 44
Aria's perspective
“Aria, I’m here,” Silas announced from the door, I was putting on my earrings, and I was already done dressing up. I wore an evening dress with a strap hand and a flat shoe.
“I will be out in a second!” I yelled from the inside, fixed my bracelet on my wrist and packed my hair.
I glanced at the mirror, and smiled, satisfied with my looks.
I walked to the door and opened it. Silas was standing outside with his hands in his pocket. He waved at me and dropped his hands awkwardly. He did everything to avoid meeting my gaze.
“We should leave, I have gotten the car ready.” He cleared his throat, I nodded and followed him out. The guards at the door bowed at Silas, they opened the front door and Silas stepped out.
They lowered their head when they saw me behind him, I’d wonder if they ever talked, I have never heard them say a word.
“Don’t they talk?” I asked Silas when we were out of the house and was standing by the Bentley car.
“They do but...” He sucke
