　　NEON's perspective 　　I was scared that she was going to run away, Diana told me humans are scared of werewolves, and when they see us they run away because to them we are monsters. 　　Aria did call me a monster, this was Diana’s idea that I should show her my wolf form. 　　I want to know if Diana was right, that she would run away when she sees Jax. 　　I moved closer to Aria, walking slowly so I didn’t frighten her. 　　I hated to see the fear in her eyes when she glued to the tree as if I was going to hurt her, I felt like a loser and dropped my head. 　　Aria would never accept me for who I am, Diana was right, I would only end up chasing her way. 　　I didn’t want to go close, I wanted to turn and run into the woods and not show myself to her again. 　　But then, she came to me. 　　I couldn’t believe it, Aria was standing in front of me, she lifted her hand and ran them over my furs. 　　I stared at her, it didn’t seem real to me, I thought she was afraid of me. 　　“You are so big. Laughing. 　　I want to keep this memory forever. 　　I shifted back to my human form and I was naked when I did, Aria turned away shyly, taking her eyes off me. 　　I chuckled at her shyness walked closer to her, and hugged her from behind with my hand around her shoulders. 　　“You’re mine, Aria. Forever.” I whispered behind her ears and kissed the side of her neck. 　　She stood still, and I spun her around slowly, her eyes went over my body, and she sighed in relief when she noticed that I was covered up in a leather jacket. 　　I already know I was going to be naked after I shifted in front of her so I prepared beforehand, I don’t want to add a pervert asshole to her list. 　　I lifted her chin with a finger and let my eyes wander off to her gaze, I held her face with both hands, it was a bit cold in my hands. 　　I lowered my head while staring at her heart-shaped lips. 　　Slowly, I pulled her closer to my body and claimed her lips in mine. When I saw her stirred, I went to the bed and sat on it. 　　“Neon?” She muttered, her voice sounded weak. 　　I placed my hand on her forehead. It was burning. 　　“Aria.” I took her hand and felt her pulse, it was quite weak. 　　“Fuck.” I groaned and ran my hand through my hair. I stood up from the bed and went to get a bowl and a towel. 　　I wrung the water out of the towel and placed it on her forehead. 　　Her eyes had closed up again and she was unconscious. I kept the towel on her head and changed it when the towel was getting hot. 　　I went into the kitchen, and decided to make her some soup, so she could eat and have some strength. 　　I came back to the room and fed her, I lay her down on the bed after she had taken just a few spoons. 　　“You will be fine, I am right here.” I took her hand and kissed them. I kept them back beside her on the bed and placed the towel on her forehead again. 　　I was beside her throughout the night, she must have gotten the flu because of me. I was the one who took her to the woods. 　　It was all my fault. 　　It was already morning, and I had sent Silas to get the pack doctor to come and attend to her. I hadn’t had any sleep at all, Silas commented that I looked terrible and wanted me to get some rest. 　　I won’t do that until the pack doctor arrives. 　　“Alpha you don’t have to worry, she will be fine, it’s probably because she is new to the environment and she’s trying to adapt to it. You don’t have to blame yourself for it.” Silas said while leaning beside the door. 　　“You think so?” 　　“Yes, Alpha. You don’t have to worry too much.” He added. 　　“When will the pack doctor be here?” 　　“In a couple of minutes, he will be here.” He opened the door and glanced sideways if he was probably coming. 　　“I do not think that’s it Alpha,” Diana remarked, she was sitting on the couch in the room, painting her nails. She glanced up. 　　“It’s because she’s a weak human. That’s why she’s sick. You have every right to be worried besides she will be a burden to you.” 　　“Look...” She points at Aria. 　　“It was just a few hours outside, she’s already down with a fever, how do you expect her to cope?” She stood up and strolled over to the bed. 　　“Doesn’t it tell you something Alpha? That she doesn’t belong here.” 　　I stare down at Aria, and how pale she looked. 　　“To keep her safe you have to send her away, let her go to where she belongs. Reject her Alpha, she doesn’t fit in here. Reject her! That’s the only way to protect her. If anything happens to her, it will be your fault.”
