"Go back to your room for now," Tristan surprisingly maintained his calm, even giving Wynn a comforting pat on the hand.
With a frustrated glance at Tristan, Wynn turned and entered the bedroom.
Ivy took the furthest sofa from Tristan, sitting down without any courtesy, her gaze fixed directly on him.
"What do you want?" Tristan, undisturbed, picked up a cup from the middle of the table, poured some tea, and pushed it towards Ivy.
Although there's wisdom in not striking a smiling face, Ivy wasn't there to test the validity of old sayings, especially not with Tristan's feigned cordiality.
"I don't have time to sit here and sip tea with you," Ivy got straight to the point. "Where's my grandfather's property deed?"
"My dad's property deed?" Tristan paused momentarily, then shook his head. "How would I know?"
"Stop playing dumb," Ivy had no patience for Tristan's attitude of putting interests above familial bonds.
