" Hey Charles! What's up? " Mel greeted as she entered the restaurant. Charles turned to her and smiled sadly " Hey Mel, how are you? " He looked uneasy, if she must added. She smiled " I'm okay, thanks for taking care of me yesterday " He shook his head " It's nothing, I didn't do most of it anyway " and he shrugged. " Thank you anyway " She repeated and patted his shoulders. She turned to leave but he reached out and held her hands. She looked back, confused and wondered what was wrong with him. He was being weird these days. " Is something wrong, Charles? " She asked with a raised eyebrow and a soft smile. He shook his head quickly " No... No... I just wanted to tell you something " His lips trembled slightly as he spoke. " Really? Come on then " she led him over to a table and sat. They've not hung up the OPEN sign outside so they still had enough time to talk. She had a hunch she knew what he wanted to say and she sighed inwardly, thinking the time had finally come for them
