Chapter 71
Fortunately, there weren't too many floors—just four or five—so we reached the rooftop fairly quickly.
When Edith let go of my hand, her face was flushed, and she couldn't even meet my eyes.
I couldn't help but chuckle.
She was the one who initiated the hug, yet here she was, embarrassed.
Not wanting her to dwell on it, I quickly changed the subject. "So, where's the view you were talking about?"
She composed herself and led me into a room with a large balcony.
I stepped out and took a glance at the view. The issue she had mentioned was immediately clear.
If we were going to sell this villa at a premium, the view from the windows had to be flawless. And if the sightline from this expansive balcony was obstructed, the smaller rooms wouldn't fare any better.
This would definitely need to be addressed.
I pulled out my phone and began snapping pictures, adjusting the angles to capture the problem. We'd have to discuss this in a meeting later to ensure it didn't hold up progress.
