Hansel pointed ahead, and when I looked up. I saw Edith wearing a straw hat, dressed in a white shirt and jeans, reviewing some documents with a few colleagues.
"Edith!"
Hansel, ever the bold one, waved enthusiastically and greeted her in a loud voice.
Edith glanced in our direction but didn't say a word, quickly lowering her head to continue reading the documents.
I thought the situation was funny and said, "Got the cold shoulder, huh?"
"So what? Even a cold shoulder from a goddess is worth it!"
I was speechless.
I couldn't help but admire his confidence.
Before long, we got busy with our own work, and the morning flew by in a flash.
When it was time for lunch, I called Hansel to join me.
