They looked so familiar. Suddenly, I realized it was Edith. What a coincidence that she was eating pasta here too. In one day, I ran into her three times.
While I was eating, my phone rang again. I picked it up to see it was a call from Isabelle's father, and I couldn't help but let out a quiet sigh.
Arthur Cox had always taken good care of me, but he rarely reached out. Although we'd known each other for more than three years, he had only contacted me once or twice.
After a moment of hesitation, I decided to answer.
