Chapter 33
Sean then took broad strides upstairs. He grabbed a dictionary that he used when he was previously in school from the shelf in his room. Then, he returned downstairs and gave it to Xyla.
"This dictionary is a decently updated edition. You can flip through it for words that you don't understand," Sean stated.
Xyla was baffled. She assumed Sean would ask her to bring the novel over and teach her the meaning of every word.
Yet, she still felt overjoyed when she saw Sean's name scribbled on the dictionary's first page. Even her cheeks turned redder. "Did you use this dictionary when you were in school, Sean?"
"Yeah." Sean nodded while pouring himself a glass of water.
He had already graduated, so the dictionary would only sit on his shelf anyway. He figured he could give it to Xyla since she needed it now. He could always buy a new dictionary for Sadie when the latter had to start attending school.
"Thanks, Sean!" Xyla hugged the dictionary tightly like it was a treasure. Butterflies
