19 Gavadiol Makes A Friend
Ten minutes later, when they had revived Konstantin with smelling salts, the trainer arrived. One look at the state of the camp, the man immediately knew what had happened.
"Is it my tigers?" He asked. "Where are they? Are they dead?"
"No," Terrilo said wearily. "But Konstantin would be dead by now for sure were it not for Gavadiol here?"
"Gavadiol?" The man blinked at him.
But before anyone else could talk, the manager hurried up to Gavadiol bowing several times.
"Thank you lad. We are forever in your debt. Thank you so much. Why didn't you say you were also a trainer eh? What was all that talk about swords and archers eh? If you're ever lacking a job, just call on me eh. It wouldn't be bad to have another handler on the set eh?" He said his last words pointedly and began to berate the trainer for taking so long to fix an ordinary shoe.
