177 Kelley Goes Out On His Own
“Ah,” Freidis said. “Look Kelley, this just might have been made for us. What do you think?”
“Yeah, let's scoot in.” He jumped down and drew his sword. “But hold on, let me scout first.”
In no time, he had verified the safety of one of the caves and they all went in. It was pitch black and a bit dreary but dry and warm at least.
“Ah,” Friggins sighed and collapsed to the ground. “Rest at last.”
“Rest at last?” Freidis shook her head at their latest companion. She turned to Kelley. “Kelley, do you think we can light a torch or something please? I want to whip us something to eat and maybe take this chance to finally have a look at Friggins wounds.”
Kelley looked up at that. “You brought stuff along to treat wounds?”
Freidis only shook her head. “Of course, I can trust you men not to think about basic stuff like that. Anyway, wait until you see what else I brought?”
Kelley chuckled. “Alright, I observed that this cave runs a little deeper than it appears when I was scouting it.”
