15 A Fight In Town
The sun was straining its last shades of orange across the sky in the west when Gavadiol led the horse he had just bought out of the stable and got ready to ride to town. His father had declined to come along so it would be only him.
Now that he had calmed down somewhat, he began to slightly regret his morning rant.
But it couldn't be helped. After giving the new horse a good brushing down, it began to look way more presentable. And so Gavadiol decided it might be good to test it out right away and see what it could be useful for. As he mounted, he chuckled to himself at the weird experience earlier at the horse market.
How could he have thought a horse could be speaking to him? Even the so-called connection he felt to the animal seemed kind of foolish now. It was just an ordinary horse, nothing more.
