11 A Lad Called Gavadiol
The old man stepped over the threshold of the cabin, his shadow dancing in the flickering light from the solitary candle that lit up the place. He took off his voluminous coat and hung it by the mantelpiece. The smell of sizzling bacon and freshly baked bread made the man sigh in satisfaction even though he had not even tasted the food yet.
The shuffling sound in the other room of the two roomed cabin made the man chuckle, a rare sound that barely escaped from his lips.
"You can stop sulking Gavadiol." He called settling on the couch with another satisfied sigh. "You are a man now, twenty-five years tomorrow goddamit."
"And treated like a boy still!" The voice that came from the other room barely held back from screaming, 'Goddamit!' as well.
"Boy, you must be patient sometimes." The old man reprimanded, closing his eyes. "Now get out here and bring me my food. You can't have been mad for long seeing the fine feast you have set out here. Get out here, you rascal and feed your fa
