"Joshua!" Sophia's expression turned sour as she looked at me, and her voice unintentionally grew louder.
I turned to face her, looking puzzled. "What's wrong? Isn't what I said just common sense?"
"You…"
Sophia was cut off before she could speak by Edison's affectionate pat on her shoulder. "Don't be angry, Sophie. Anger isn't good for your health, especially your liver. And Joshua's words were meant to help me."
I nodded in agreement and set down my utensils. "I'm full, take your time."
With that, I stood up and exited the dining room, heading toward the staircase.
This time, the client requested an extensive amount of design sketches and had a strict deadline. I knew I needed to dedicate more time to it in order to deliver the sketches ahead of schedule.
The night passed quietly without any disturbance.
I woke up bright and early the next day. After eating breakfast, I headed back to the guest room to continue working on my design sketches.
