I knew that the phone call had come from Edison.
Because apart from him, I had never seen Sophia care so much about anyone.
On the sixth day, after another round of chemotherapy, I could no longer hold back and pulled Jayden's hand, asking, "Jayden, can I stop the chemotherapy?"
The chemotherapy was incredibly painful.

I smiled and said, "Jayden, I'm only in my 20s. What if my hair all falls out from the chemotherapy? I don't want to become a bald guy at such a young age."
Like all the other times before, he still didn't agree. He laughed it off and said, "If your condition improves, we won't need chemotherapy anymore."
"Okay," I softly responded and smiled, changing the subject to the entertainment news I had seen recently.
