"Andrea, contact all major hospitals immediately," the doctor instructed. "Check their records and see if there's any medical history for Joshua."
"Right away," Andrea responded briskly and turned to leave.
She couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for Joshua. He was on the brink of death, and his family didn't even seem to know the full extent of his medical condition.
Moments after Andrea left, another doctor spoke urgently. "This is bad. The patient is experiencing massive hemorrhaging. All vital signs are deteriorating."
"Quickly! Coordinate with other hospitals to secure RH-negative O-type blood!" ordered the attending doctor.
