I wearily lifted my gaze and shook my head slightly. "I'm fine."
"Well, I'm disappointed," she replied, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
Juliette lazily leaned against the restroom door, watching me with a mocking expression.

"Huh?" I stared at her in surprise, not expecting her to suddenly wish me a happy birthday.
Juliette turned her head away, looking uncomfortable. "Your health is terrible right now. If things keep going like this, it might be your last birthday," she explained coldly. "Seeing the jerk get what he deserves certainly puts me in a better mood."
