Chapter 21
Yet, contrary to Tristan's expectations, Leticia didn't immediately return the book after receiving it. She instead immersed herself in its pages for a week and even took the initiative to message Samuel about it.
"Why did you choose this particular book?"
Samuel replied with a smile, "It's because I used to love reading it as a child. What do you think of it?"
"It's so childish," Leticia responded succinctly.
Upon seeing her reply, Samuel's smile broadened, as if her criticism were a commendation.
It dawned on Tristan that Leticia wouldn't engage in such a mundane conversation unless she had some interest in Samuel. It seemed like Samuel had indeed made the right move by sending her the book.
As their correspondence continued for several days, Tristan found himself increasingly perplexed. After years of marriage, he thought he had Leticia figured out, but her interactions with Samuel had left him questioning everything. It was obvious that there was more to her than he thought
