Chapter 39
In the photo, I was wearing a white dress and smiled brilliantly. I don’t remember when this photo was taken. In fact, I couldn't remember when I laughed so happily around Marcus Mo. When we were together, I was always terrified.
How could I smile this happily? Well, it was a candid photo. Maybe I was with my parents, or my friends. Maybe I was with Tom . The background was blurred, but it was an old photo. It must have been taken with one of those big, high-end cameras, since phones and regular cameras back then didn’t have the capability to blur the background like that.
The more important question was, how did Marcus Mo have my photos?
The next picture was a portrait of me. It was my college graduation photo.
My heart pounding, I opened the computer folder. There were more than 500 pictures in it. I was in each one. From when I was 12 up to when I was 25. Seeing these photos brought back a deluge of memories.
