I did not want to make things difficult for the delivery man since I understood he was just doing his job. I took the ring box, albeit reluctantly. However, I did not open it. I had no intention of coveting what belonged to someone else. Initially, I planned on passing the ring box to Selena once I finished work and returned to my apartment. Yet, I was informed that she had moved out of her place. The apartment opposite mine was once again vacant. I had no choice but to send Anthony a friend request on a messaging app. As soon as my request was approved, I went straight to the point and asked him to send someone over to pick up the ring. Most of his employees knew me since I had worked at Cleveland Corporation before. If I were to drop by their office to deliver the ring, those who saw me there might start making strange assumptions. Moreover, it would be difficult for me to explain things to my current employer if they were also made aware of them. Yet, Anthony's reply was… "D
