"Did you like the pep rally?" A random cheerleader asks me as I stand up to leave the gym She's been staring at me the whole time. If I'm being honest it's creeping me out. "Yeah" I lied I didn't hate the pep rally but the cheers and dances were too repetitive in my opinion. Maybe our school needs new material. "Great," She says with a bright smile as her brown ponytail swings freely "We worked really hard on it" she says which causes me to smile before we're interrupted by, guess who? If you guessed Maddie then you're absolutely correct. "Bri, why are you talking to her?" Maddie asks as she stops beside the cheerleader Oh, so her name is Bri. "Can I not talk to Charlotte's girlfriend?" Bri asks Maddie with an eye roll which causes me to roll my eyes Why do people keep assuming that we're dating?! We look nothing like a couple! "I have a name" I state with an annoyed tone "Stay out of this, Aspen" Maddie says with an acidic tone which makes me roll my eyes at her in annoya
