"Okay, so I may have a little fear of heights" Charlotte squeaks out as our seat stops at the top of the Ferris wheel "You don't say" I sarcastically retort as I show her the claw marks on my forearm, that she caused. "This isn't funny, Aspen" she says "Okay, there's nothing to be afraid of," I say when she jumps at the sound of fireworks "There's many reasons to be scared" she says in a panicked tone I grab Charlotte's hand and interlock our fingers together which causes her to look down at our hands with an appreciative expression.
