"Begone!" The longer Perseus listened to Liam, the angrier he got. He hung up the phone and rushed over to Shallow Bay. As expected, Camilla was still waiting for Perseus. She had fallen asleep, leaning against the headboard. He couldn't bring himself to wake her up. So, he tucked her in and slept on the couch in the living room for the rest of the night. The next morning, Karen was done making breakfast by the time Perseus woke up. There were oats, toast, omelets, glasses of milk, and some salads. It wasn't a big meal, but it was certainly filling and lifted spirits. Karen might've had a sharp tongue, but she did a wonderful job, taking care of her family. "You're constantly busy, Perseus. If this keeps up, when can we and your parents expect to have grandchildren?" Karen also found out from Camilla that Perseus went out to deal with some matters in the middle of the night.
