Perseus made sure to comfort Irene and Gordon for a few moments before relaying the instructions on what to do when they looked after Shannon over the next few days. Once Nancy exited Shannon's room, Perseus took his leave after saying his goodbyes to the Pughs. He didn't mention a single word about collaborating with Genesis Healthcare the whole time. Perseus didn't want Gordon to feel the need to collaborate with Quantum Innovations just because of what he had done for Shannon and Donald.
