Zeke continued, "You know how it is. You sell a piece of merchandise to a stranger for ten bucks, but you sell it at 15 bucks if it's your friend and family. The closer you are, the higher the price."
Perseus felt speechless. His expression darkened, and he shook his head. Obviously, he couldn't understand or accept such a concept.
"That's enough with this grim topic. It's about noon now. How about we go out for some drinks?" Zeke suggested.
"Sure." Perseus didn't get sentimental either. All he could hope was for the police force to annihilate the Pascal family today. He also wished that young people these days would stop dreaming about easy ways to make money. After all, everything came with a price.
