Chapter 15
It’s so stupid to make such a low-level mistake.
Forgive me!
"Auntie, you came back. I thought you went home..."
Ben looked at Maria with a smile, and the corners of his pink lips were slightly raised, revealing two rows of his white teeth.
"I just went to the bathroom.", Maria smiled at the little boy.
The dinner ended in an awkward and tense atmosphere, and they went home separately.
When the group of people walked to the elevator entrance and was about to get on the elevator, Maria pretended to be shocked, "Oh, I forgot my phone in the room. You can go down first, and I will go back to get it."
With that, she turned and walked in the direction of the room.
"Okay, then you hurry up."
John exhorted Maria, and then the group got into the elevator.
Maria turned around, sneaked back, re-entered the private room, and looked at the tableware that had not been cleaned yet. She was delighted.
She looked at the seat where she was sitting, and the cup on the table.
That cup was the little boy’s cup. She slipped the cup into her bag quietly, and then she turned, left and went downstairs.
After going downstairs, John was still waiting for her, while Samantha, Migs and Ben were gone.
"Are they home?", Maria asked.
"Well, they have just left now because of something.", John explained.
Maria smiled faintly, "Oh, it's okay."
"Let's go. Get in the car, I'll take you back."
John opened the car door for her.
"No, no, I still have something to deal with for the time being. Go back first. My friend is already on his way."
She does have something to deal with, but it is not for John to know, so it is better to keep it secret for the time being.
"Oh, that's fine. Then I will accompany you here and wait for your friend."
After all, Samantha had just returned home, and John was a little worried about Maria.
"Huh? No, no. You can go home now."
Under her repeated urging, John had to get in the car, and before leaving, he did not forget to say, "Call me if you have any problems."
"Okay."
"Then I'll go back first."
"Slow down the road."
She waved her hand and watched John's car leave her sight. Maria just hailed a taxi, opened the door and got in.
"Where to?", the taxi driver asked.
"To the hospital."
"Okay."
The taxi driver started the car and went directly to the hospital.
Sitting in the car, Maria’s heart was pounding, a little nervous. She's expecting something, but she feels a little worried for fear that it would turn out to be that way.
But, is there really such a coincidence in the world?
She didn't know.
The doctor got off work when she arrived at the hospital, so she just handed the cup used by the little boy and her hair to the doctor for DNA test. The doctor said that it would take three days.
She doesn’t have any choice but to wait.
However, when Maria left the hospital, a person came out behind the pillar in the hospital lobby.
Looking deep at Maria's back, he took out his mobile phone and made a call, "Brother, guess who I saw in the hospital?"
The caller was Migs' younger brother, Joseph.
He was ordered by Migs to come to the hospital for a DNA test, but he didn't expect to see Maria.
The most important thing is that, after begging his brother to tell him, his eldest brother said that the DNA test is to confirm something between Maria and Ben! "I heard her conversation with the doctor clearly just now, and it seemed she was also here for a DNA test."
On the other end of the phone, Migs' expression was cold, and his azure blue pupils squinted slightly, "Damn it, you know she deliberately approached Ben for a purpose, and it's true."
"Then what should I do?"
Joseph didn't know what to do but let his brother Migs decide.
"Idiot! Do I have to tell you what to do? Hurry up. If you can't do this well, then I'll send you to Africa to have a good experience.", Migs directly hung up the phone.
Three days later.
On this day, Maria drove to the hospital to get the DNA identification results after finishing her work.
However, what she didn't expect was that when she walked into the hospital lobby, she saw a person approaching.
That person is not someone else, it is Migs.
Maria's face became stiff, and she couldn't help but slowed down a bit, stared at him blankly and asked, "Why are you here?"
A few days ago, Migs pulled a piece of her hair. If she guessed it correctly, he must have sent something to the hospital to be determined.
As she spoke, Maria slowly lowered her head and saw the kraft paper bag that Migs was holding.
The doubts in her heart are even worse.
"Oh, the ghost will never go away."
Maria stood still in front of Maria, took off his sunglasses, and looked down at her coldly, "What is your intention of following me deliberately?"
"I follow you in purpose?"
