“What the hell is going on?” Amara asked calmly, trying her best not to let the frustration that was welling up inside her spill out into anger.
At her question, rather than answering, the executives whispers amongst themselves, glancing in her direction from time to time, while Edward smirked at her.

With a slap of her palm on the table, the entire room was quieted.
“I asked a question, if you know you’re not going to answer it, I suggest you get your ass up and get the fuck out.”
“Tsk. She’s finally showing her true colors.” One of the executives whispered and made a show to adjust uncomfortably in her chair.
Amara glared her way without remorse. “What did you say?”
Rather than answering her, the executives rolled her eyes and looked elsewhere. “Younger generation nowadays, disrespectful little things.” She muttered.
