Martha said as she smoothed down the last flare in Amara’s hair, then took a step back, smiling softly at the finished product.
“Beautiful,” She complemented. Amara took a moment to examine her own reflection and came to the conclusion that it was indeed beautiful.
Very befitting for the conclusion party that was starting in a hours.
“Thank you, Martha,” She said, giving her a warm smile. “It would have been a disaster without your help.”
“You flatter me, Ms. Amara,” Martha said, smiling, but the smile vanished as soon as her eyes fell upon her watch. “Oh, goodness gracious! You’re going to be late if you remained here any longer. Hurry Ms.”
Amara nodded her head. She rose from her seat and grabbed the purse by the table.
“Please inform my grandfather that I’d be heading out now.” She informed and rushed out the door.
