It rained heavily that very same night. Laying in bed with Elijah and watching as the rain drops collided with the glass, Amara came to one single conclusion.
She was tired of fighting everything, life, destiny, fate and the most important thing, the man she had once loved.
She had reached that one point in her life where she just wanted to focus on her family and the business and pray to the God above that peace came along with the package.
Because that was the least she could hope for at this point.
Turning over, she closed her eyes and decided to get some sleep, knowing fully well that she had work to attend to tomorrow.
As she felt the sleep pull her away, Amara hoped that she could have a good night rest, free from the nightmares that had plagued her.
But despite her high hopes, Amara ended up having those same horrid nightmares that never seem to haunt her when she was at Tobias’s place, as she slept.
