Feeling Like A Coward.
Amara shrieked the loudest she ever had, her eyes wide in fear as she whirled around, prepared to attack.
Her fist flew and her hand made contact, only to realize the person had caught her fist and she instantly recognized the person who had caught her wrist.
“T-tobias?” Her voice quivered involuntary as she called his name, looking at him with eyes that screamed relief, shock, fear and anger.
Tobias, on the other hand, was frowning.
“Yes, it’s me,” He answered, releasing her hand and tilting his head ever so slightly, the frown never leaving his face as he examined the expression he had seen previously.
It definitely hadn't been his eyes, for a second there, she looked frightened, almost as if she had seen a ghost or was about to be killed by one.
“Is something the matter?” He questioned, his voice low, and laced with a tinge of worry, something he rarely displayed, but for reason recently made known, he showed them to Amara, gently, so as not to overwhelm her.
