“I’d ask you one question,” Amara began, taking several steps towards Christina, staring down at her like a predator would at its prey.
Christina couldn’t help but feel intimidated at this. She knew, from the way Amara’s gaze was fixed on her, that the younger female knew something, if not everything about the soup.
