Although Amara wouldn’t totally agree with some, if not all of what Christina had said, she, ironically, found herself agreeing with the fact that she needed a change of clothe after returning home.
Half an hour later, showered and dressed in a silk, strapless gown that had a slit right in the middle and hugged her body like a second skin, she made her way down, feeling a lot more refreshed and relaxed, ready for whatever was thrown her way.
When she got to the living room, only Christina was present and when the woman caught sight of her, a bright, but very fake smile brightened her face.
“Ahh, Amara, darling, you look absolutely gorgeous,” She praised and Amara frowned at this, not bothering to hide the displeasure in her voice as she spoke.
“Your acts are very much visible,” She stepped closer, fixing Christina with a narrowed stare. “And so, is your dislike towards me.”
