Chapter 8

He moved near her ,sitting on the bed he noticed a beautiful amulet around her neck , but didn't give it much of a thought . he was looking at her , when she started getting restless again , before Atharv could control himself , he started to run his hand through her hair , trying to relax her .she frowned , but then it seemed to help . A lazy , small smile appeared on her lips , Atharv felt a small twinge in his cold heart after seeing it . He stopped running his hand through her hair after sometime . She started moving again with a frown , her smile disappeared and this time , her head landed in his lap , it was as if she was seeking him . He looked at her trying to find the most comfortable position on his lap . She sighed when she seemed to find it , Atharv didn't know what to do next . He didn't want to leave her restless I can at least help her sleep peacefully a night " he thought to himself and started running his hand through her hair . In the morning , he left before she woke up . When he went home , he saw Adira standing near the stair case . "Where were you the whole night ?" She asked "Nowhere " he said moving upstairs . " please don't do something , which would force us to leave . I am actually liking it here "she said in her head . Atharv didn't reply I am trying not to do anything wrong ....." he thought to himself . They went to the college , Reya was really happy and relaxed . Aisha also sighed hearing that Reya only woke up once last night , she was able to sleep peacefully through the night . "Can you point out the reason how ? What changed last night ?" Zoya asked . Reya frowned and said" I don't know , I was really comfy last night " she remembered a scent lingering on her bed ,but thought that it was her illusion . At college , Ishaan also noticed her bright mood , they all were standing in the corridor , he asked "hey ! You seem in a good mood . Slept well last night ?" " surprisingly yes ! I only woke up once last night , after that it was comfy . " she said . "May be you should ask someone to stay with you at night , it may help you sleep " Atharv said .Adira was surprised to see him taking interest . " she did , mom stayed with her some days ago , but she was restless the same , mom tried many things to relax her , like running her hand through her hair , pressing her forehead etc. but nothing seemed to work . She woke up nonetheless "Zoya explained and a frown appeared on Atharv's forehead . He was thinking that maybe she just needed someone at night , he didn't want to believe that it was him , she was looking for him specifically . Adira got more surprised seeing his frown . She couldn't get what was going on in his head . ------ They all were sitting in the cafeteria , talking and laughing . Zoya asked " isn't big B back yet?" "Nah ! Its taking him longer this time on a business tour "Ishaan said . "Big b ?"Adira asked . " Ishaan's elder brother . Actually we grew up together , he was elder , so we all started calling him big B " Zoya explained . "Tell the truth , you feel too scared to call him by his name " Ansh said laughing . Adira looked confused , Reya explained " actually , he is of serious nature . Though , he is only 26 years old .Not many people have the courage to get free with him .we are not included in that people for sure ." Sasha approached Atharv , before she was even done talking "hey Atharv ! I was thinking , if you needed any help for Mr shah's assignment " Ishaan snorted " I told you she is nothing " he said to Zoya . She was going to place her hand on Atharv's shoulder , Reya felt het heart sinking .she didn't like the thought of her hands on Atharv . Atharv turned quickly , looking at Sasha with his cold eyes, it made Sasha stop from placing her hand on him " no thanks ! I don't need anyone's help " the coldness in his tone made chills run through many people . "Try to find some other meat "Zoya said and Sasha left glaring at her . They decided to go out that night together .
