"Reya "a whispered word which left everyone is shock . "What ?"Adira asked not able to get it . "Reya.... Reya is mine "Atharv said in a firm voice . "Are you sure ? How can she be yours? "Adira said . "She is mine !I wasn't able to identify her due to this amulet . The energy , the scent coming off of her , calls to the every fibre of my being "Atharv growled . "It hasn't happened in centuries , a human being mated to a vampire "Raghav said thoughtfully . "Most of the mated humans cant even survive it , mostly the girls.......they end up dying "Meera said . Atharv went still ,he didn't like the thought of her not being in his world. "Think it thoroughly , do you want her to enter this life ?will you be able to control yourself around her ,she would be a lot more delicate than us. If yes , then be ready! A lot of troubles and tests would be waiting for you "Raghav said . Raghav handed him the amulet back and got up "would she be any harm without this amulet ?"Atharv asked . "No , the thing has happened, for the prevention of which , she was wearing it for . The witch who gave her this must have seen her future clearly . The darkness has chosen her .now its upon you , whether you want to pull her in it or not . Everything is in your hand "Raghav said and left the lounge area with Meera . Meera was worried about Atharv , but she knew that decision would be his to make "most of the time, he is dangerous for our specie , how is that fragile girl going to survive him? He is the strongest of us "Meera said to Atharv . "You are saying it yourself ,he is the strongest of us , if he wants to do something , he will, whether it be protecting her or killing her "Raghav said wrapping his arm around her . Adira sat with Atharv "can you let her go ?"she asked on a whisper . Atharv looked in her eyes , the look of pain in his eyes gave the answer "you think I can ? I wasn't able to avoid her , even before knowing that she is mine , how will I now , her scent called to me like nothing else .the mere second I basked in it was the best moments of my life . I didn't regret my being in that moments ."Atharv said . "Decision is yours to make , think about every aspect carefully "Adira left after saying it . --------------- On the other hand ,Reya felt very hurt with Atharv's words .she told everyone that she was feeling tired and went to her room.. "I am not the girl , you can insult whenever you want .I wont allow it .I will never even look at you "she said to herself . -------------- A lot of emotions were building inside him , he went to his room, the moon was already out , the clouds started covering the sky , thunders could be heard roaring in the sky. Rain started falling heavily , Meera looked outside "he is letting the world drench in his anger , his sadness "she said knowing from the blackness of the clouds that it was his son's doing .she sighed not knowing what to do . Atharv didn't give much thought and left for Reya's place .she was busy looking at the black clouds covering the sky .Atharv waited for Reya to go to bed , he didn't like the look of sadness on her face . When he entered the room, Reya's scent engulfed him. He closed his eyes, letting himself bask in it .his primal instincts towards his prey were coming forward , her scent calling to him, but his need for his mate was enough to break through that haze . He went near the bed and sat beside her .his hand on her head was enough to make Reya restful. She moved towards him, hiding her face in his stomach , looking for shelter , without even knowing about what she was doing . A broken smile covered his lips, he started running his fingers through her hair , smelling her .the control he was practicing at that time was astonishing .his need for her was irresistible . In the morning , he placed his lips on her forehead -first kiss he gave her .a smile came on her sleeping face which made Atharv smile .he left her room shaking his head .it was very difficult for him to leave her.
