Jonathan wasn't about to cause trouble in front of Avery. He kept his hand on Frederick's shoulder but didn't exert too much force. "Just kidding," he said casually.
However, only Frederick could feel the immense pressure Jonathan was applying. It felt as if his shoulder was about to be crushed. He could even hear the faint sound of bones cracking.
He looked even more fragile under Jonathan's grip. He was trapped and couldn't move.
He knew that Jonathan wasn't afraid of anything anymore. If he continued to play the victim in front of Avery and his classmates, Jonathan might kick him again. To avoid more harm, he wisely refrained from pretending to be pitiful this time.
Once Jonathan was certain that he had caused enough pain, he slowly withdrew his hand, making sure not to disrupt the classroom's order.
