Gregory angrily took a drag from his cigarette, feeling incredibly frustrated. "Forget it."
The Campbell family was not ready to go bankrupt to go against the Johnston family.
When the evening class ended, Frederick spotted Gregory at the door of the classroom and immediately approached him, feeling hopeful. "Dad, have you finished handling things?"
Gregory looked grim. "No. That brat got lucky!"
Frederick froze for a moment before hearing him briefly explain the Johnston family's donation of two buildings. Upon hearing this, he suddenly felt as if he had been slapped in the face by Jonathan.
Earlier that evening, he had confidently told Jonathan that his time at Gracefield High School was running out. He had been sure that Jonathan would no longer be at school starting tomorrow.
