Owen quietly slipped out of his seat. When he was just a few steps away from Jonathan, he noticed something that immediately lifted his spirits—Jonathan was still stuck on the first page too.
As for Michelle? Her neatly printed physics materials hadn't even been touched. The pages were pristine, without a single crease. She was napping, her head on the desk.
