Lily's tone was firm, and she wasn't fooling around. Xavier felt a stir in his chest and looked at her.
Their eyes met, and Lily instinctively wanted to explain that the pregnancy was a misunderstanding, but then she reconsidered. There was no point in explaining so much.
The more Xavier hated her, the higher the chances for the divorce to happen.
"Okay, go." Xavier raised an eyebrow slightly. "As long as you can convince them, we'll divorce immediately."
His tone rose marginally, his expression unreadable, Lily couldn't tell if he was serious. Regardless, she picked up her bag from the floor and left.
It would take over an hour for a ride-hailing service to arrive on a cold winter's day. Lily simply took the keys to the Maybach Xavier had bought her and drove off.
