Scott and the others stood at the door. Caught off guard by the sudden appearance of a big flying squirrel, they barely had time to react when they saw it scanning the four of them before choosing Caleb as its target. The creature suddenly pounced on Caleb, its limbs pressing against his chest, while its long tail instinctively coiled around his neck. All he could feel was a huge stomp on his chest. A furry tail, reeking with a strange, pungent odor, wrapped tightly around his neck, constricting both his face and throat. He gagged, suffocation overcoming him with the pungent smell. The next second, however, it released its tail and bolted toward the main door. Shannon was ready to run after it, but Scott exclaimed, "Cal!" She turned around, only to see Caleb lying limply on the floor, his face covered by supernatural energy. Helpless, she gave up on tracking down the creature and scurried to his side, slapping a talisman onto the back of his head. Forming a mudra, she chanted, "
