24. FLIGHT HOME (RAYMOND)
I woke up to the ringing of my alarm clock. I sat up in bed shaking violently and saying repeatedly, "Please don't leave me, Kitten." with tears rolling down my face.
This is my waking up routine which happens every blessed night. This nightmare normally starts as early as 3 to 4 am at dawn.
Most times, I do sleep at midnight because I always go to that room which is filled with her pictures, my kitten's pictures.
No one knows about my nightmares, not my parents, not even my best friend, only my sister when she had to sleep over in my house.
My nightmares are always about how she left me as if I knew at that time, that she was leaving me while I was dreaming about it.
My nightmares are always the same, I was standing far away from her, she was weeping as she was packing her bags and Mom's bags.
I tried moving forward, stretching my hand to comfort her and stop her from packing but I couldn't reach her, I tried to call her name but it was like a rock was blocking my v
