A certain fierceness was present on Anthony’s stone-cold face. His eyes held depths equivalent to the deepest part of the sea.
“You shouldn’t have done that to her,” said Anthony coldly.
Jocelyn paused. “Are you lecturing me on behalf of Tamara? I should have known. You always acted as her spokesperson. All she had to do was give you a glance, and you would know what to say. Anthony was brought in by Tamara’s mother to protect Tamara back when they were young. They practically lived together. The only difference was Anthony worked in the dark to serve Tamara. He grew to know her by observing her closely.
